Step-by-Step Instructions for SolarQuestä Virtual Schoolhouse
Administrators
Administrators: Registering a New School
- Connect to the internet and go to www.solarquest.com.
- Click on Schoolhouse on the left side of the page.
- Click on New Schools Register.
- Enter your E-mail address.
- Enter a password. Click on OK.
- Fill out the registration form and save your changes.
- Your school will be on-line pending approval by the SolarQuestä webmaster.
- Log out
and await E-mail from the SolarQuestä webmaster notifying you that your school has been accepted.
Administrators: Quest Approval
- Connect to the internet and go to www.solarquest.com.
- Click on Schoolhouse on the left side of the page.
- Log in to the Schoolhouse. Enter your email address and password and then click ok.
- Click on your info.
- Under the section, Administer Schools, Click on Quests
- There will be a list of Quests submitted by teachers at your school. Review any quest by clicking on the title of the Quest. After reviewing the Quest, go back to the previous page and change its status from Pending to Accepted, Suspended, or Denied.
- At this point, you may also send a private Email Message to the author of the Quest. (The author will be automatically notified of any change in status. This Email Message will be included in the automated notice.)
- Once the Quest is approved it is posted in your Virtual Schoolhouse. Any Quests that are denied or suspended are omitted and will have to be resubmitted for further review by their author.
- Remember to always click on save changes or they will not take effect.
- Remember to Log out when you are leaving the schoolhouse.
